HNN Newswire

Extended-stay hotel’s 17.2% fall in second quarter Revpar was the largest ever reported. However, for the third consecutive quarter the segment has shown smaller declines in most measures of operating performance compared to the overall hotel industry.

Supply growth of more than 7% was the biggest factor in the fall in Revpar but a 38% decline in new room construction should aid a future recovery.
