IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 18 / -- Atlas Hospitality Group President Alan X. Reay is pleased to announce that Atlas has sold the Marriott Ontario Airport in Ontario, California. Prime Hospitality LLC purchased the hotel.
The 299-room Marriott Ontario Airport sits adjacent to the Ontario Convention Center and just north of LA/Ontario International Airport, rated one of the top alternate airports in the United States by Forbes.com.
The hotel enjoys easy access to Interstates 10, 15 and 60 and all the Southern California attractions. Nearby attractions include Citizens Business Bank Arena, Ontario Mills mall and the San Manuel Amphitheater.
The Marriott Ontario Airport, which was opened in 1986, has received $7.3 million ($24,400 per room) in capital expenditures since 2003. Amenities include over 22,000 square feet of meeting space, large fitness center, two steam saunas, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, outdoor pool and whirlpool, three indoor racquetball courts, concierge lounge, restaurant, sports bar, deli and airport shuttle service.
