    So far as public view concerns what has changed is the following: The majority of hotels become none-smoking, the absence of elevator operators, the switch from hard-keys to plastic, and the slow disappearance of concierges. You wrote: Enhancing guest experience? The way I read it. I would make my own reservation, my own registration, my own check-in, open the guest room door with my own phone. Then in the morning I serve my own breakfast making my own waffle, and when I am ready to leave I do my own check-out. And all this (maybe) for $800.00 a night plus Tax. Wow, what an experience.
