STR: US results for week ending 11 May

In year-over-year comparisons, occupancy was up 0.1% to 62.7%; ADR rose 3.7% to $109.93; and RevPAR increased 3.8% to $68.94. Full Story





STR predicts occupancy for the summer months will rise 1% to 70%, ADR will increase 4.4% to $112.21 and RevPAR will grow 5.4% to $78.50.  
The Baird/STR Hotel Stock Index was set to equal 1000 on 1 January 2000, as its starting point. The Index reached its peak of 3178 on 5 July 2007. The Index’s lowest point occurred on 6 March 2009, when it dropped to 573.
