STR Global becomes an official supplier of England's World Cup bid

LONDON— STR Global is delighted to announce an agreement to become an official supplier to England’s bid to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

STR Global, the leading provider of hotel performance and supply data to the world’s hotel industry, is supporting the bid with their expertise on the accommodation sector. STR Global works together with all major hotel chains in England, providing benchmarking services to enable hotels to perform to their best.

England’s bid is supported by 12 Candidate Host Cities from across the country and will be submitted to FIFA in May. The final decision on who will host the 2018 and 2022 tournaments will be made in December. England is one of 7 bidders hoping to stage the tournament in 2018 and a total of 10 bidders are competing for the 2022 event.
