This week we learned Andy Cosslett is leaving his post at InterContinental Hotels Group. One of the things I liked most about Cosslett was that he came to IHG from Cadbury Schweppes, which meant when you interviewed him there was always an ample supply of Cadbury chocolates nearby. I'll miss that chocolate ... Yes, it’s true executives come from all walks of life. Some have been in the hotel industry since they were out of college; others have experience in retail and branding.
