Gaylord's biggest shareholder, TRT Holdings, has agreed to vote its shares for Gaylord's transition to a real-estate investment trust. TRT also agreed to not acquire additional shares or seek representation on Gaylord's board for three years.

TRT Holdings, Gaylord Entertainment's largest shareholder, said Tuesday it was opposed to the hotel operator’s plans to sell its brand and hotel management rights to Marriott International and intends to vote against the proposal.
